SO WHO WANTS *HYUN'S GLASSES
H-has anyone seen my glasses...?
no subject
Hey, are these yours? [He's...not actually going to hold them out or anything, though.]
no subject
Oh my word! Are those my glasses?! Please, I need those! This dumb human body is half-blind without them! Please, can you give them to me, um... whomever you are?
no subject
Well...I'm missing something of mine, as well. Have you seen a bindle stick anywhere? Or heard anyone talk about seeing one? [He stops spinning the glasses, at least.]
no subject
[ Sorry, man. ]
But we could check my room, if you want? If someone is switching things around... maybe it ended up in my things somehow?
no subject
Do you want the stick to be in her room, or no?
... Oh. You must be from a weird time period. Has interplanetary travel not become a thing yet where you live? Oxygen scrubbers are how that works. They take the air people expel and recycle them inside the ship, making it breathable again. Of course, trees do this job just fine, so there's some trees already on-board to help, but you can't have entire forests inside a giant metal ship out in space, it's too weighty... so, the tech does most of the work. The trees tended to be preserved for the upper crust of society.
[ She pauses, then rubs the back of her head. Oops. She got talking about... the sorta stuff her father did, didn't she? She always loved that sort of thing... she can't help it. ]
But, like I said, how the ship I was programmed on wasn't all that important, really. Let's go see if we can find your stick.
That works for me!
Very well. Which way is your room? [He sticks his arms behind his head casually as he speaks.]
Sorry this is so late, life... happened.
[ She'll motion and lead him there, and, sure enough, the stick is in there near her bed where her glasses usually are, leaning against the wall. ]
No problem!
[He grins and rushes forward to grab the stick, swinging it back onto the usual spot on his shoulder.]
Nothing's missing. And your glasses aren't damaged or anything?

[ She pauses, looking her glasses over. ]
They appear to be fine... and I can see okay, so I THINK they're fine?

You probably wouldn't understand... it's... it's a bond that's different from just having friends or something. I've had... not so great people around me before, so trust me, I know. My creators were good people. The advances they worked toward were important.
[ Not to mention she's lying through her teeth, but she... can't just say, "they raised me." ]
Besides, honoring the people who raised you in Korean society, while not as big a deal as it used to be, is still kind of important. For me, it was less about that and more... they'd earned it, if you get what I mean. They gave me the tools I needed, so...

noct's JACKET, GLOVE or BOOTS. (feel free to push any item on him/his room in return!)
he must look a bit pathetic really, wandering the halls in sock feet and rubbing his arm with the opposite hand, in a feeble attempt to warm up a bit. ) What's with stuff just disappearing all of a sudden? I thought these rooms were supposed to lock... Figures, I guess.
( it's more of a mutter than anything else... )
no subject
Gremlins, I'd imagine. Sneaky little buggers, get in no matter how well you lock up. Or Brownies, but I didn't ask anyone for extra shoes.
[It's a nice thing about being Fae; sometimes you can get away with saying things like this and no one knows whether you're speaking from experience or just spouting nonsense. Either way, he holds up the pair of boots, having gotten them once he spotted Mr. Shoeless wandering the halls.]
I'm guessing these belong to you.
no subject
which is more than he can say for the rest of them in this place. ) Where did you find them? I've been looking all morning and— ( hold up a second. )
Wait, did you say 'brownies?' ( he's pretty sure desserts don't do these kinds of things, dude. though he knows a chef that might be interested in hearing about it. gremlins on the other hand, he might be able to understand... )
no subject
Yeah. Little chocolate cakes people like to eat? They steal shoes sometimes.
[This is dropping with sarcasm.]
no subject
( either way, noctis is happy to have his shoes back. so here he goes, leaning against the wall and putting them on. ) Where did you find them, anyway? I've been looking all morning.
no subject
In my room, for some reason. [He sounds a little annoyed by that, if anything.] Wake up, and there's an extra set of shoes by my bed. Not even my size.
no subject
Anyway, uh. Thanks. I'm... Noctis. Though I guess you met my boots before me. ( and then, under his breath— ) Pretty sure that's a first...
no subject
Vex. And if I have any say in it, that's the last time I'll be a shoe delivery boy.
no subject
Wonder if I was the only contestant on the 'Find Out What's Missing the Hard Way' game. You weren't missing anything too, were you?
( he can at least hope it was just a small glitch in the matrix, right? )

You! Where are my scissors!?
no subject
...Ah. I was wondering how those wound up in my room.
