[ SOMEONE is blind without her glasses, due to being incredibly nearsighted and having astigmatism. When she reaches for them, she realizes she doesn't have them. So she's blindly wandering around, feeling things. ]

( in the back of his mind, there's the guys' warnings at the forefront... 'you should've worn a jacket.' only he had had it with him just the night before, and the same went for his shoes.

he must look a bit pathetic really, wandering the halls in sock feet and rubbing his arm with the opposite hand, in a feeble attempt to warm up a bit. ) What's with stuff just disappearing all of a sudden? I thought these rooms were supposed to lock... Figures, I guess.

He's already searched his room - and noticed something else there that's NOT his, which he left in place - and is now searching the rest of the facility. With the size of the flower petal, it'd be really easy to miss, and he's growing more and more despondent of finding it.]
